We recommend players age 14+ We do not allow players under the age of 8 to engage in our experiences. Players who are between the ages of 8 and 17 must be accompanied by a paying adult in the room who is at least 21 years old. Our experiences are not suitable for children's birthday parties.
Are the rooms scary? Do they have live actors?
Neither room is scary, and neither room has a live actor.
I have a group of more than 6 people and want to play
Our maximum team size is 6 per game, but we can accommodate up to 12 players at a time, split between our two rooms, 'Banged Up' and 'Redbeard's Revenge' Just book two booking slots that start 20 minutes apart. On the day please turn up at the earlier time. Example: Redbeard’s Revenge booked at 10am Banged Up at 10.20am. Whole group turns up at 10am. We might be able to squeeze an extra person in one of the rooms if you have 13 people, but we wouldn’t really recommend it. If your group is 14 people+ then we definitely can’t accommodate you all at the same time, but you are very welcome to book consecutive slots.
There are 7 of us, can we all play one room?
Our rooms are designed for an average of 4 people, so 6 is the upper limit. If you really, really want to play as a 7 and don't mind the fact that you will be quite cosy at some points, and understand that that with 7 it can be quite chaotic/not quite the ideal experience, please message us with the day, date and time you wish to play and we can adjust the booking slot so that you can play as a 7. Redbeard's Revenge has more content and is better suited for a larger group.

With 8 players, you MUST split into 2 groups.
I want to play today but I can't see any bookings available
This means we are sold out for the slot you want or the booking is too short notice. So, if you can't see a booking available it means we can't accommodate you, sorry!

I would like to change my booking to another date or time
Get in touch via our contact page and we will do this for you. Please note we need 48 hours notice to reschedule a booking.
What are your reschedule/cancellation/refund policies?
As you are booking, for a live, ticketed event, we are not able to refund the cost of a booking if you wish to cancel for any reason. However, If you are unable to make your booked date, we will be able to reschedule your booking to another date, provided you give us at least 48 hours notice. Cancellations with less than 48 hours notice mean that the booking will be forfeited and you will not be entitled to a reschedule or refund. In the instance that you bring fewer players with you than you have booked for, we are not able to refund the price difference. If you are unsure as to how many players will be forming your team, please book for the lowest number you anticipate, then you can add more players (up to the maximum of 6) upon arrival.
What is your policy on lateness?
Please arrive on time for your booking. If you are late, your experience will be rushed and you may have your time in the room reduced. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a booking, this will be marked as a "no show" and you will not be entitled to a refund or a rescheduled booking.

Is the escape room suitable for a pregnant woman/those with limited mobility?
Banged Up: There may be a tiny part of the game you have to skip if you have limited mobility. Redbeard's Revenge: This game involves some steep steps and some crawling so is not suited for those with limited mobility.
Can I have a few drinks before the game?
Please do not drink before the game. Escape rooms are not easy! You need to have your full wits about you. Celebrate your success after the game with a drink, but please do not drink alcohol before arriving. Players who have been drinking or arrive intoxicated in any way will not be permitted to play, and no refunds or reschedule will be permitted. This is for the safety of our staff, as well as to prevent damage in the rooms.
Is the room wheelchair accessible?
Our current rooms are not wheelchair accessible.
Can you donate a voucher for a room for my charity auction / fundraiser?
We have a few local charities that we have donated vouchers to but are currently at our limit and are not able to issue any more for this year.
Do you do discounts?
We do not currently offer discounts.
Do you mix teams with other members of the public?
No, we do not mix your team with other members of the public to fill up the room.
Can I take pictures in the room?
No, but we will make sure you leave with a fun, commemorative photo!
